Learn more about American Sign Language (ASL) Inside, presented through the Mango Languages learning platform. Similar to other courses found in Mango, ASL Inside teaches intuitive language construction through a conversation-based methodology that reinforces grammar, vocabulary, culture, and pronunciation. ASL Inside co-founder Dave Victorson will go over the program’s methodology, product and learning features. There will be a demonstration as well as time for questions.
About David Victorson: My wife, Missy, and I founded ASL Inside when DVDs were still expensive. She is profoundly deaf and the creative genius behind our content. I manage the backend development and video production. Our partnership with Mango Languages was the result of an initial meeting between Missy and Jason Teshuba at an ACTFL conference. Jason is a Co-Founder at Mango.
Our approaches to teaching language are similar. World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages play a big role. Along with Missy's 30 plus years of teaching they guided our effort.
