In a time when students and faculty are increasingly seeking diverse, current, and authentic perspectives, our new Social Justice and Culture Series delivers. These collections go far beyond traditional nineteenth- and twentieth-century archival resources. We call them living collections—composed of blogs, podcasts, zines, and other immediate expressions distributed through new media. Created by the communities themselves, these are the ideas that today’s learners connect with. The content covered enriches syllabi and research in Gender Studies, Indigenous Studies, Race and Ethnic Studies, and more.
Created by Coherent Digital and distributed in Canada by Trojman Corp exclusively.
The details
Every day, millions work for social change. They tweet, blog, podcast, and document injustice with videos, online magazines, photographs, and ephemera. They write extensive reports and create websites rich with art, music, and culture.
LGBTQ+ Social Justice and Culture captures and preserves these activist voices from the 1980s to today, with a special focus on content at risk of disappearing, especially in oppressive countries.
